Thinking of us for September 2025?
Year R Open Events
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions that you will make as a parent and not something that should be rushed in to. If you are still in the process of selecting where to start in September 2025, whether you have already visited the school or this will be your first visit, we would love to see you at one of our forthcoming open events.
Dates and Times:
Tuesday 26th November, 1:30pm
Thursday 28th November, 9:30am
Sessions will last approximately 90mins.
Join us for tea and biscuits and a chance to meet other parents. Our Year R team and members of our SLT will be available throughout the sessions to answer any questions you may still have, and our older children will lead you on tours around the school so you can get the inside story on school life from their point of view. Finally, your children can experience life in the Early Years classroom and take away with them something of a 'make and do' momento.
Please contact the school office to register for one of these events. If you can't attend but would still like to visit, please call to arrange an alternative appointment.
New to Year R Parent Tours - new dates added
A child's first year in school is one of the most important times of their life. Here at Otterbourne Church of England Primary School, we look forward to playing a vital role in ensuring your child's first year is a settling experience that forms the foundation for their ongoing education.
Through directed learning and enhanced provision in a free-flow environment, children at Otterbourne Primary learn to have trust and show respect, and they learn the value of determination as we strive to shape them in to independent learners.
The dates for New Parent Tours, which last approximately 60 minutes, are:
Tuesday 12th November - 1:30pm
Thursday 14th November - 9:30am
Please call the school office on 01962 712020 to arrange your visit or to discuss alternatives if you are unable to join us on any of the above dates.
We look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful school.
Kind regards
Mr Martin Geraghty
