Our Diversity Council is committed to promoting inclusion, celebrating differences, and fostering respect for all members of the school community. Their role is to ensure that every child feels valued and that the school is a welcoming and equitable environment for everyone.

Autumn One

In DIVERSITY COUNCIL we have be talking about black history and we have found out about various famous black people from the past. From that, we have been talking about creating a ‘culture day’, where you can wear the clothes of your culture or heritage. We have also surveyed every class in the school to create a map of all the different countries we are from and the languages we speak. These will go on our class room doors next half term.

We have also created an EARA (Equality and Rights Advocates) group and we will be visiting Nightingale school next half term for our first meeting – we are very excited!
