Worship Council

Worship Council | Elsecar Holy Trinity CofE Primary Academy Elsecar Holy Trinity CofE Primary Academy

Our worship council includes a group of pupils dedicated to supporting and enhancing the spiritual life of the school community. The council plays an active role in planning, delivering, and reflecting on acts of worship and helping to ensure they are inclusive, engaging, and reflective of the school’s Christian ethos.

Autumn Term:

This half term, we have been doing our weekly duty of going round all the classes and rating their worship tables out of ten.

Also, when a new worship event comes up we create a poster and take it round the classes so they can display it on their tables. This means each child is aware of significant events and can discuss them during our class workshop time.

In December, Posada travelled around the school recreating the story of Mary travelling to Bethlehem.

Next half term, we will be starting to think about how we can deliver our very own worships in school with guidance from the diocese.
