Spring One - Anti Bullying Training with the Diana Award
A group of six inspiring children from Years 4 to 6 at our school have recently embarked on an important journey to become trained Anti-Bullying Ambassadors through the prestigious Diana Award program. These dedicated pupils, chosen for their compassion, leadership, and commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment, spent a day learning vital skills to help prevent and address bullying.
Their training focused on recognizing the signs of bullying, supporting their peers, and promoting kindness and inclusion throughout the school community. These young ambassadors are now ready to take on their new roles, equipped with knowledge, confidence, and a shared vision of fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
We are incredibly proud of their determination and the positive impact they will have on our school. Their efforts reflect our commitment to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported, and safe.
Autumn One - Shoe Box Appeal
This half term we have supported community council with the Shoebox Appeal for the rotary club.
Next half term, we will be redeveloping the reflection space to ensure there is a quiet place for all to go to when they need some time to be quiet. We are doing this with the help of a local gardener who is donating time and resources to help us.
